摘要:Medical imaging and downstream analysis tasks have played an important role in AI-based healthcare diagnosis and treatment. In this talk, we will introduce two aspects in a practical diagnosis process. One is Computed Tomography imaging, which provides high-quality CT images for clinicians to distinguish abnormity, while the X-ray doses pose a potential risk of cancer to patients. We will introduce several procedures to keep the CT image quality while reducing radiation. The other is CT-based surgery treatment planning, which aims to help clinicians accurately and safely place cryoablation needles in liver tumor cryoablation surgery. Traditionally, clinicians always empirically plan and place needles, which is challenging because of complex clinical constraints. We instead model the problem from the Minimum-Volume Enclosing Ellipsoids (MVEE) and integrate the AI-based modified KA algorithm in the optimization process.
简介:王册,中山大学副教授。2020年在南开大学组合数学中心获得理学博士学位,2020-2023年于中国科学院计算技术研究所进行博士后研究,2023-2024年于香港科技大学进行博士后研究,2024年加入中山大学理学院。主要研究领域为计算医学成像与医学影像分析,特别是结合优化和机器学习方法降低成像辐射,并为临床手术设计更高效、自动化的诊疗算法。
