摘要：The Andrews-Curtis conjecture states that every balanced presentation of the trivial group can be reduced to the standard one with a sequence of elementary transformations. We try to study this conjecture through a family of special 2-complex called fake surfaces. In this talk, I will introduce these concepts and talk about our recent related work.
