Abstract:  In this talk, I will present some recent progress on the Yamabe problem on Riemannian manifolds with boundary. Working in the case where the manifold is of positive Yamabe type, we obtain several compactness results where the prescribed scalar curvatures of the conformal metrics are zero, positive and negative respectively. This is based on joint works with Sergio Almaraz and Olivaine Queiroz.

主讲人简介：王邵东，博士毕业于加拿大McGill University，现任南京理工大学数学与统计学院副教授。主要的研究方向是非线性偏微分方程和几何分析，相关的工作发表在J. Funct. Anal.，Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations，J. Lond. Math. Soc.等学术期刊上。
