摘要: We will talk about  various volume comparison theory  via Bakry-Emery Ricci curvature （BB curvature）.  Analogs of  Ricci curvature,  BB curvature palys a crucial role in many  geometric  topics， such as  conformal geometry,  Ricci soliton, Ricci flow, etc.  Some application  of  volume comparison  results will be also discussed in the study of compactness of Riemannian metrics.

主讲人简介：朱小华，北京大学数学科学学院教授。2001年获求是杰出青年学者奖，2002年获教育部霍英东教育基金，2004年获国家杰出青年科学基金，2005年获ICTP意大利青年科学奖，2013年获国家自然科学奖二等奖，2017年获陈省身数学奖，2022年受邀在国际数学家大会（ICM）上作报告。研究领域是微分几何和几何分析，他在微分几何中几个重要的研究方向——复几何中的典则度量、Ricci流、高维Ricci孤立子等领域取得了重要成果，解决了多个著名的数学问题。
