Abstract：In this talk, we discuss the life span of solutions for a semilinear pseudo-parabolic equation with nonlinear sources. We will show that as long as the initial datum is non-rarefied at $\infty$, the solution must blow up at finite time. Moreover, we give a delicate estimate on the life span.
